EHR-Electronic Health Record is a real-time system, that is used and maintained by healthcare organizations to collect and store patients' medical information. EHRs are used to share the required information across the healthcare providers and organizations. This enables to make well-informed health related key decisions quickly with that it helps to improve patient care and reduces safety risks.
As part of skill labs, I worked to create new patient informations as well as update existing patient details. I created and studied how key patient documents such as Patient demography, vital signs, medical history, diagnosis, lab & test results, progress notes are being maintained. I was able to find and update the key missing or incomplete information. I also worked on Qualitative and Quantitative analysis. It helped me to understand the key purposes of these two analysis. With qualitative analysis I was able to track the incomplete and delinquent records due to physician's deficiencies in Clintigrity. I am very much familiar with how EHR captures the data and how to locate the patient details for medical coding purposes.
